About them
Fruit Flies are an excellent feeder to smaller animals. They are commonly used for baby chameleons and other lizards alike, as well as smaller frogs or fish. They are relatively easy to maintain, and a culture will produce a more than sufficient amount of flies for weeks to come after your purchase!
D. Hydei

Drosophili Hydei are an excellent feeder for fish, amphibians, reptiles, carnivorous plants, and birds! They are a slightly larger fruit fly species (still great for baby animals) and have a maturation period of about 28 days. A culture of Hydei will produce thousands of flies!
D. Melanogaster

Drosphili Melanogaster are, like Hydei, an excellent feeder for fish, amphibians, reptiles, carnivorous plants, and birds! They are a smaller fly than the Hydei (similar to the size of ants) and have shorter life cycles. A culture should be able to produce for about a month supply!
